This Corps was formed 15 Oct 62. It was designated as the Chipman Regional High School Cadet Corps under sponsorship with The Chipman Regional High School Board, District No. 24. affil.: 6th Independant Signal Sqn, Oct 6, 1962. Effective 1 Apr 66 it affiliated with the 3 Signal Squadron. In 1974 it re-affiliated with the Signal Training Troop, Combat Arms School (CAS) Gagetown (letter Marc: 1085-11-1 (Cdts) dated 27 Nov 74 refers). DCdts Adm 3433 dated 13 Aug 91 changed sponsor from Chipman Regional District High School to Chipman and Minto Branches of the Royal Canadian Legion. The Cadet Corps name was changed (unofficially) to 2708 Chipman Minto Army Cadet Corps (Feb 92). VCDS Cadet Statistics lists the affiliate an Nil (Nov 98).
