 This Corps was originally formed in Jan 62 under the name Sioux Lookout under the Sponsorship of The Royal Canadian Legion of Sioux Lookout and the affiliated unit was 40th Field Artillery Regiment. The Corps disbanded 30 Jun 67.

The corps reformed 29 Oct 86 as the Sioux Lookout Army Cadet Corps under the sponsorship of Council 3198 - Knights of Columbus, affiliated with 116th Independent Field Battery and supported by CFB Winnipeg.
