2698 Corps de Cadets Napierville was originally formed 15 Nov 1961, affiliated with 4 Bn R22R (Chateauguay) in 1962, and disbanded 1 Sep 1963.

Eff 1 Apr 93 this corps was formed as 2698 Corps de Cadets Sieur de Beaujeu (D Cdts Adm 496 of 11 May 93 refers). It is affiliated with 51e (Montreal) Svc Bn and sponsored by Royal Canadian Legion Branch 11. Support Base is CFB St-Jean.
2698 was allocated to this corps to perpetuate the historical aspect of the army cadets, as Napierville is the closest previous corps to St-Bernard-de-Lacole. It is also to be noted that Napierville is part of the seven "MRC" (municipalites regionales de comte) in which the cadets will be recruited.
