This Corps was formed 1 Jan 56 as Corps de Cadetss Ecole Secondaire du Sacre Coeur, Kenogami, Quebec. Sponsor was Ecole Secondaire du Sacre Coeur and affiliation was Regiment du Saguenay. affil.: Le Regt du Saguenay, Jan 1, 1956. Effect 1 Mar 64 the Corps was redesignated Corps de Cadets Ecole Secondaire Monseigneur Fortier. Eff 13 Dec 72 designation changed to Corps de Cadets Legion Canadienne de Kenogami. Eff 1 Feb 75 designation and sponsor changed to Corps de Cadets Chevaliers de Colomb de Kenogami. The Corps moved to St-Ambroise hence 23 Oct 79 with a change of sponsor to Club Optimiste and designation to St-Ambroise. 
Acceptance of a Sponsor Application 15 May 87 changed sponsor to the Comite Civil. Sponsor change to Chevaliers Colomb 6875 in 95 with no auth. Eff 11 Jul 1997 sponsor changed from Chevaliers de Colomb to M. Michel Gagne, 261 Simard, St-Ambroise, QC (Msg D Cdts Adm 418).
