History -
This corps was originally formed 1 Nov 1955 and known as the Peigan Indian Cadet Corps, sponsored by Peigan Indian Council and affiliated with 18 Field Regiment (SP) RCA. Disbanded 31 dec 1959 due to a fire. Reformed 15 Jan 1963. Eff 1 Jan 1965 corps was re-designated 'Pincher Creek Legion Cadet Corps and sponsored by Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 43. This corps was placed on probation 25 July 1975 until 1 Feb 1976 so that some improvmenet could be shown and a new parade location be found. Eff 1 Nov 1977 this Corps probation was lifted. (1085-15 SSOCdts 16 Nov 1977 refers). Eff 12 Jul 1984 the Corps was again placed on probation due to low strengths for a period of not less than 6 months. The corps was disbanded 04 Aug 1988.
