History - This Corps was formed 1 Sep 1955 and known as Queen's Own Rifles of Canada Cadet Corps. affil.: Queen's Own Rifles of Canada, Sept 1, 1955. It was sponsored by QOR of Canada, Regt and affiliated with QOR of Canada, RCIC. Most efficient corps in Southern Alberta 1961-62. Eff 2 Nov 68 the sponsor changed to PPCLI - affiliation changed to PPCLI and re-designated (6 Dec 68) PPCLI Cadet Corps. Won LCol Mooney Challenge Trophy for best shooting team in Southern Alberta 1964.
