 This Corps was formed 21 Sep 1954 as McCreary Cadet Corps and sponsored by Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 173 and affiliated with Fort Garry Horse (10th Armoured Corps). affil.: Fort Garry Horse, Sept 21, 1954. Eff 1 Jan 1960 it reaffiliated with Fort Garry Horse. It was placed on probation 31 dec 1977 due to low enrolment and later extended to 30 Jun 1978.
