Formed 01 Sep 1953 under the sponsorship of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 102. The Corps was designated as 2481 Red Lake Cadet Corps and was affiliated with 40th Field Artillery Regiment. affil.: 40th Med Regt RCA. The Date is not known when the affiliation was taken over by 116 Field Regiment Kenora. In 1972 the Corps became affiliated with 2nd Batallion PPCLI
