This corps was formed 2 Dec 1952. It was designated 'Watford District High School Cadet Corps and was sponsored by that school. It was affiliated with '48th Fd Bty 31st fd Regt, RC Artillery'. affil.: 44th Field Bty, 31st Field Regt RCA, Dec 2, 1952. Eff 1 June 1956, Corps re-affiliated with '7th Fd Regt RCA'. Eff 12 Apr 1960 it became affiliated with '7th Fd Artillery Regiment'. Eff 1 Apr 1965 the Corps affiliated with '1st Hussars'. The corps was disbanded 30 May 1973.
