History -
This corps was formed 09 Feb 1950 as the Calgary Cadet Corps. Canadian Army Orders issue no 277 for 1952 shows the corps as being formed 5 Nov 1951 as the Calgary Cadet Corps "C" Coy (Strathcona School Detachment). There is no evidence of it being disbanded in between. exp. amalgation of 4 cdt corps: 1622; 1955; 2137; 1292. All four former units retained their identity with the new corps.
