Corps was formed Nov 1949 under sponsorship of 'Grand Falls Academy'. affil.: Royal Newfoundland Regt, May 2, 1951. In May 1951 authority granted Corps to become affiliated with 'The Royal NF Regiment'. With the integration of all schools the sponsor is now known as 'Exploite Valley Integrated School Board'.
