History -
This Corps was formed effective 19 March 1949 (CAO Supp 141/49) and affiliated with The Saskatoon Light Infantry (MG). Effective 1 January 1955 affiliation was changed to 2nd Battalion, The North Saskatchewan Regiment (SLI). In concert with the re designation of the affiliated unit, affiliation was changed to The North Saskatchewan Regiment in December 1970. The Corps is sponsored by Branch #66 Royal Canadian Legion, Rosetown. This unit was formed 19 Apr 1949 and designated Rosetown Legion Cadet Corps. It was affiliated with Saskatchewan L.I. (M.G.) Regiment and sponsored by the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 66, Rosetown. affil.: Saskatoon Light Infantry, Dec 31, 1954. Effective 1 Jan 1965 it was affiliated with 2nd Btn N. Sask R (Saskatoon Light Infantry) MG. Effective Dec 1970 its affiliation became North Saskatchewan Regiment. This corps was disbanded eff 16 Jun 1997 (Msg D Cdts Adm 443 23 Jul 1997).
