History -   

 This Corps was formed on 22 Mar 49 and designated C Company Algonquin Regt CC. affil.: The Algonquin Regiment, Mar 22, 1949. Effective 1 Jan 55 Corps redesignated to C Squadron Algonquin Regt CC. In 1971 change of sponsor to Cobalt Kiwanis Club. In 1975 annual inspection report, this Corps was placed on probation due to low numbers of cadets and officers and effective Nov 75 a letter indicates a change of sponsor from Kiwanis Club to Le Club Richelieu, T*miscamingue. In 1976 probation was removed.
