This Corps was formed 28 Apr 1947, designated Dresden Continuation Cadet Corps and was sponsored by Dresden school Board. Eff 30 dec 1948 the corps affiliated with No 1 Infantry Workshop RCEME. Upon disbandment of the No 1 Infantry Workshop the Corps became affiliated with the Kent Regiment RCIC, eff 21 Dec 1950. Eff 23 Oct 1953 the Corps was redesignated 'Lambton-Kent District High School Cadet Corps'. affil.: Essex & Kent Scottish, Jan 1, 1955. Eff 7 Mar 1962 Corps re-affiliated with '2nd Btn - Essex & Kent Scottish'. Eff 1 Jan 1968 Corps was re-designated 'Lambton Kent Composite School Board Cadet Corps' and sponsor became 'Lambton Kent Composite School Board (Dresden, ON).
