History -

This Corps was formed 01 Sep 1946 and became known as 2291 The Vegreville (Loyal Edmonton Regt) Cadet Corps. affil.: Loyal Edmonton Regt, Jan 1, 1955. In 1956 under the new sponsorship the corps changed their designation to 2291 B Coy, The Loyal Edmonton Regiment (3rd Battalion, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry). In 1968 the Corps was placed on probation due to low attendance. Recommendation was made to disband the Corps but the sponsor strongly objected. Problems were solved and the Corps continued to progress. The Corps was disbanded 01 Oct 1973 at the request of the sponsor after years of low attendance. H.Q. 12-V-57
