 The corps' home since 1946, Beatty Street Armoury, 620 Beatty Street Vancouver, BC

History - This Corps was formed 1 September 1946 combining 1605 St George's School CC and 1843 St Patrick's School CC and were designated as 2290 the 13th Armoured Regt (BCR) Cadet Battalion. In 1949 authority was granted to redesignate the Corps as 2290 British Columbia Regt (Duke of Connaught's Own) CC since affiliation was authorized in 1962 with the British Columbia Regiment. In early 1970 the sponsor on the annual reports was East Vancouver Lions Club. In 1973 it was the British Columbia Regiment. Message D Cdts 223 dated 25 Feb 1985, Branch 282, Royal Canadian Legion became co-sponsor. As of 1 June 1996, corps is seeking a new sponsor; the Legion has closed down. H.Q. 12-V-58
