History - Originally formed 09 June 1909 as 209 Sherbrooke High School cadet corps. It was disbanded 24 Jan 1936. It was reformed under the same name 30 Oct 1940. affil.: 2nd (R) Bn the Sherbrooke Regt, Feb 10, 1944. Disbanded 31 Mar 1947. This Corps was reformed in Nov 1968 under the sponsorship and affiliation of The Sherbrooke Hussars and was given No. 2835. In July 1969 authority was granted to change the No. of the Corps to '209" the original number of the Sherbrooke Hussars. No records available on the history of the original 209 Cadet Corps.
