History -
This Corps was formed Nov 1, 1940, designated 'Sandwich Collegiate Institute CC' Windsor, ON. Eff 13 Jan 1943 it affiliated with '2nd (R) Btn. Essex & Kent Scottish Regt'. Eff 3 Feb 1953 Corps was re-designated JL Forester Collegiate Institute Cadet Corps' (This was due to a change in the name of the school). Eff 7 Mar 1962 the Corps re-affiliated with 1st Btn. The Essex & Kent Scottish.
