This Corps was formed 1 Nov 1940, sponsored by Kennedy collegiat Inst. Eff 4 Jan 1943 it affiliated with 2nd (R) Btn Essex & Kent Scottish Regt. affil.: Essex & Kent Scottish, Jan 1, 1955. This affiliation was cancelled and eff 7 Mar 62 Corps affiliated with "1st Btn Essex & Kent Scottish". This affiliation was also cancelled and the Corps re-affiliated with 'E & K' Scottish. Eff 21 Sep 77 the Corps was placed on probation due to insufficient operations. This Corps was disbanded 15 Sep 1978.
