History - This Corps was reformed 1 May 1958 and designated 2626 Lachine High School Cadet Corps, sponsored by the School Board, and affiliated with the 3rd Battalion Black Watch of Canada in 1959. Effective 1 May 1958 number of corps was changed to '153'. The Corps was disbanded, effective 28 Aug 1968.

History

This Corps was formed 29 Oct 1906. It was designated 153 Lachine Academy Cadet Corps. The corps disbanded 11 Oct 1939, and reformed 15 March 1940 as Lachine Schools Cadet Battalion. It disbanded again 18 Jan 1945. This Corps was reformed 1 May 1958 and designated 2626 Lachine High School Cadet Corps, sponsored by the School Board, and affiliated with the 3rd Battalion Black Watch of Canada in 1959. Effective 1 May 1958 number of corps was changed to '153'. The Corps was disbanded, effective 28 Aug 1968. Eff May 1989 designation changed to Corps de Cadets Sault St-Louis (D Cdts Adm 0905 refers).

It reformed 10 Jan 1973 as 153 C de C Les Rapides de Lachine and affiliated with Royal Canadian Hussars. It was sponsored by La Commission Scolaire de la Cite de Lachine. According to 1974 annual report sponsor changed to La Commission Scolaire du Sault-St-Louis but no documentation was forwarded; the designation changed to Corps de Cadets Sault St Louis.

D Cdts msg 129 100937Z May 2001 aothorizes the Sponsor change, from: commission Scolare Sault-St-Louis to: Legion royale Canadiennt, Filiale 212.
