This Corps was formed 14 Nov 1927 and known as St Joseph d'Alma College Cadet Corps. Affiiliated: Regt de Saguenay (R), May 18, 1945. Effective 30 Jun 47 the Corps was disbanded. 
It was reformed 1 Jan 1953 as Corps de Cadets College St Joseph d'Alma. Effective 1 Jan 1964 the Corps was redesignated Corps de Cadets College Ludger Tremblay. This was changed to read C de C College Ludger Gauthier; and effective 13 Dec 1972 Corps became known as Corps de Cadets d'Alma. D Cdts 2064 of 2 Dec 1987 effectively changed the sponsor from Commission Scolaire Regionale de Lac St-Jean to Branch 17, Royal Canadian Legion, Alma.
Sponsor request form requests change in 1994 to Chevalier de Colomb, Conseil 2862. Copy of form to DCdts for message. No changes.
