CADET INSPECTION IS CARRIED OUT

HIGH SCHOOL MAKES FINE SHOWING IN ANNUAL TEST

 

Cadet Inspection was carried out at the Armouries Friday afternoon.  Inspecting Officer Lt. Col. Caron, and R.S.M. Oliver.  The program was as follows:

INSPECTION DRILL

PART 1

  1. Forming up platoon ast. Leader Tweedie.
  2. Roll call by section commanders.
  3. Passing over platoon to ptn. Leader Simms.

a)      Forming line on the left.

b)      Dressing the platoon.

  1. Inspection in open ranks.
  2. Section commanders number and prove sections.
  3. March past in column of route, leader Simms.
  4. Reforming line.
  5. Platoon forming column facing right.
  6. Break off.
  7. Squad drill sizing the squad section leader R. Brown.
  8. Left form and right form section leader Oliver.
  9. Break off.  Signallers put through message.2, Marksmen shoot.
  10. Basketball players get into uniform.

PART 2

Signalling and first aid under section leader Brody.

Shooting team under section leader Gardiner, member of team B. Gardiner, R. Wetmore, E. True, D. Connolly, Subs. R. Brown, S. Brody. 

Shooting and signaling proceed at same time.

PART 3

Intersection basketball games, section 1. plays section 2, section 3 plays section 4.

Cadet Amateur night at Theatre.

  1. Grant Dunbar, song and guitar selections.
  2. Edward Cogger, Piano selection.
  3. Miss Tapley, grade 8, acrobatic dancing.
