On April 30, 2007 the 2966 RCAC Corps had the privilege and honor of participating in a memorial service and dedication to one of Canada's fallen soldiers who also happened to be a local man and a former member of the 2966 Corps.
Cpl Albert Storm 1st Battalion RCR killed in action 27 November 2006 in Kandahar Afghanistan

Members of 1 Battalion RCR based at CFB Petawawa Ont.. many of those in this group served with Cpl. Storm at the time of his death.
