Field Exercise 1978. Had to chase cadet shown getting face camouflaged before he would submit to mud on face."
Officer applying mud is Captain R.A. Crocker.

The second caption reads, "A Thursday night parade. Pictures by Mike McGuire 1978."
Here, the cadets are holding their training night at Sir Sam Hughes, Branch 67, Royal Canadian Legion on York Street. After the corps lost affiliation and sponsorship from the 45th Field Battery, RCA, the corps paraded out of Lindsay Collegiate and Vocational Institute, until the building was demolished and rebuilt, leaving the corps homeless for a while. It was due to the efforts of Captain R.A. Crocker that the corps was able to move back to the Victoria Park Armoury, where the corps continues to parade today.  (corps archives, Sara Howe)
