From Left. John Meraney, has a teenager during WW2. He was living in Luxembourg during German occupation and a member of the "underground". He later emigrated to Canada and joined Sudbury's Irish Regiment. Sgt Normand Bedard, CD. He served in Canada's contingent to Vietnam during the Vietnam War. Also has served on numerous UN tours, including Cyprus. Mr Bisson, from Casselman (all of his life) served in the Infantry during WW2. Saw action in France. He has never returned to Europe and up until recently, never wanted to. I forget the next gentleman's name, but he was a Cpl, Provost Corps during WW2. He spent most of his time out East, patrolling the shores, on land and keeping the many sailors, airmen and soldiers in line. I forget her name but she was a Major. One of Canada's first female, regular force officers (Air Force) spent much of her career flying around the world again, and again, and again and again. (Lt Rob Gill)
Maj Leo Regimbald taught our cadets First Aid Training. All green stars are now qualified Emergency. Red Stars are qualified Standard. We will be attempting Instructor Courses for more senior cadets next year. (Lt Rob Gill)
