#2472 Cadet Corps

1955

The corps on parade. Note the female uniforms, though girls were not officially members of the cadets until 1975, many corps chose to ignore the rules of the day. Girls were members of many corps across the country, their uniforms varied but were often skirts, tunics sometimes CWAC (Canadian Women Army Corps) variant, and most interestingly WWII-era Army Cadet wedges, footwear was usually loafers.  ca.1955 (2472 Cadet Corps)

Marchpast, note the second cadet from the right is wearing a BCD tunic with an RCA hat badge, perhaps recently transferred from the interior. ca.1955 (2472 Cadet Corps)
