Mr. James Clarke, from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #10 in Nanaimo, presented a cheque in the amount of $1,500.00 to 2422 The Canadian Scottish Regiment (Princess Mary’s) Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps. The Corps’ Commanding Officer, Captain Anthony Bone, accepted the cheque on behalf of the staff and cadets. In addition to the civilian Army Cadet League of Canada, the Corps is sponsored locally by generous donations from various service groups such as the Royal Canadian Legion. These donations help the Corps undertake many of the activities that make this organization successful and enable the local youth to give back to their local community. (courtesy Capt Anthony Bone)
