 - Major Moores repeats as Cadet Commanding Officer. The pipe band, now numbering 20 pipers, adopts full dress, including feather bonnets. 

 

Marksmanship within the Corps is at its peak, with Cadets receiving training in firing Bren, Sten and lee Enfield rifles.
